So working my way back up the slippery rope i came down from to put the car back to a more "standard" sellable form. So far the yellow front bumpers gone back on and it would appear I've sourced the standard yellow golf front end for a trade of my Vento parts. Figured I might aswell as a non bodywork messed with car is much preffered by the majority of the British public.
New brakes also went on, well the fronts anyway because the rear caliper bolts refuse to make way for my 8mm allen key. Aparently there are ways around this though so hopefully that will happen soon. The fresh stoppers up front meant my wheel to caliper clearance was reduced to like minus 5mm, luckily for me i had 10mm spacers lying around so on they went and up came the car a good 20mm on the coilovers.
Now i just gotta space the rears 20mm to match the front and obviously raise it accordingly, but wills got one of my spacer bolts so i can't do that just yet, so it sits poop for now and yet people still seem to like it, queue picture from "SoVag" the Southampton meet....
