No-Rice June 09

This time of the month seems to be rolling round really quickly at the moment.  I swear we were only in Guildford reading the latest PVW the other day?  Ahhh well we were back there again, well heading there again eventually after I had to look at a possible new car, clean mine and pick up Doey all before 7 o'clock after finishing work at 4.30pm.  Yeh good one Phil.  Anyway after running a tad late to meet a few of the local lot we rolled on up and arrived in Guildford in daylight.  It was a weird sensation but it felt good all the same.

On our arrival we were greeted with the site of the current talk of Edition, Carl Taylors Colour Concept, 90's themed mk3.  Fuck me he's done well.  The way it sits on the 17" Azev A's is unreal, the colour just puts my aged yellow to shame and the choice mods really set it apart from the crowd, it was getting the big thumbs up from pretty much everyone that looked at it too!

This months event seemed to be swapped with badass mk3's though, Wills was MIA but not to let the side down our very own James was representing as always with his fresh interior trim and looking hard as nails with his black on black combo.  Not to be deturred by Maylons recent letter to the lads at PVW towers (cheers for that Maylon, proves its not just F6 that hates you) he slung it directly next to Carl's green machine and although its not quite as in your face it still drew a fairly large crowd at times and you can see why..

Mine was also slung next to James but it's not looking its best right now, with my stance game way off point due to Will's theft of my rear spacer bolts theres not an awful lot I can do about it!  Pull your finger out will!  It was also dwarfed by the greatness of the other modded yellow colour concept in attendance sporting an awesome set of fresh rollers.  Pea's on the vette's was killing it, nearly tucking tyre out back on 9.5x17's was just ridiculously good!

Then there was the recently PVW featured mk3 on TH lines, looking amazingly clean as ever!

Our boy Matt picked up some fresh rollers for the Touran too, how does 17x9.5 BBS RS tickle your buds?  Worlds best Touran?  For me it already is but these are just going to kill it!

On a whole it was a succesful night for all and just when I thought it was all over our mate Shakey rolled up in his freshly built vento!  The thing was sick, freshly out the bodyshop with gleaming white paint and a freshly 'furbed set of modernline splits to match!

Like I said, the mk3's were killing it all night, just a shame we didn't have more of the F6 fleet on show!  See ya next month folks...or maybe at DC09 if we decide to show up!!
