So, since selling 'that' 550bhp R32 turbo i was left hankering for something with similar power... but more danger.

step up 1.8 tons and 400bhp (stock) bravian muscle...
bought as a middle of the road price wise 2000 spec car, it was a seemingly sensible choice. it was a clean car in carbon black with black interior trim. a kinda hard to find combo but glad i hunted it out - some of the m5 interiors look janky as fuck.

1st to go was that frankly hilarious, and aptly named rear 'spoiler'... then it was onto spending literally £100s on servicing the thing, from top to bottom. it gets used hard and needs to be tip top.
then it was on to rectifying those small niggles... like the front lights, swapped out for brand new smoked units.

then it was a quick debadge away from getting to the nitty gritty. 1st on the cars of the expensive and exciting mods was to get shot of those two black boxes under the bonnet....

et voila! in with £400 worth of AFE stage II intakes!

now, thats one end of the growl addressed, then it was time to sort the noise at the back of the car and i set about fabricating my own rear box deletes.
6 hours later, and alot sweatier then i had begun we have the finished product... saving a whole bunch of weight at the same time!

much more of a fitting noise.
shortly after i wrote myself an ECU tune, mapped to the intakes and new exhaust. the result is 420bhp and higher rpm limits - and a delimited top end, so this thing will easily top 190mph.
while inside i brightened up the trim with some select carbon wrapping.

then i did some burnouts with latham.

after that i hit it with the lowering stick, courtesy of a set of BC coilovers with adjustable camber top mounts.

oh and you might have noticed the smoked rear lenses too!

with all that in order, the time had come to give the guys ar rota a call for some fresh 18x10 grids. it was a natural choice!

ti chrome on the one side, black on the other.

so there we have it! im kinda in two minds wether just to enjoy shredding in it or to sell and move on tho the next project... any uk heads out there wanna talk to me about selling, give us a shout on 07834492079 - im looking at offers around £10.5 k
in the mean time i look forward to getting out on track this summer, and working my way through rear tyres at an alarming rate
