Some of you remember this:
From NB Daily.
Now I was a big fan of this... It was awesome in tunnels, scared kids off bikes, upset friends parents and generally made a right racket all the time.
Unfortunately the local police didn't consider any of these attributes suitable for the highways so served me with a defect rectification notice.
With the original one long gone a quick call to Mr Spencer Ashley was made and a lovely new straight through back box and a selection of bends arrived at work. With the two weeks on the rectification notice and Christmas fast approaching a late night was pulled and I had something that got me the appropriate stamp:

Now this functioned rather too well in the silencing stakes and after hearing F6's resident border collie, Latham in the Black Wall tunnel something had to be done.
So another quick call to Mr Ashley with the words "I want the smallest silencer you do..." uttered and a rather cute 12" bullet can turned up the next day.
With the back box off again and other bits and pieces of pipe i'd accumulated from other projects laid out things were looking up.
This time with the help of a work colleague Mark who put in his previous experiences at Renegade a bit more time was spent on this one.

I'm more than happy with the result and though I don't have quite the same volume as the "No Back Box" version their is still plenty to keep me happy and can at least still have a conversation in the car without resorting to sign language.
