Every now and again you stumble across an idiot just brilliant enough to draw the waning attention of, well, other idiots. Step forward Sam ‘1990’ Evans.
This flagrant loon was just mental enough to slap a big old M45 Eaton to his 96 Mk4 Polo and we just love it. So much so that Sam was handed the F6 award at this years Players event. A laid back, one day show bringing in some of the best UK and European water and air cooled vws around as well as a smattering of pretty much anything and everything else awesome.
With a little help from the boys at TEMsport, Sam rebuilt a one-three g40 lump and threw it all in the little polo. Oh, did we mention he painted it in his garage too? Not bad for just over three years of ownership.
