Spending hours looking at cars on the internet
drums up some spurious and inventive ideas regarding the butcherment of my poor
car. After seeing over 9000 S2000's with an aerodynamically enhancing cutaway
arch, and a link over on SceneMedia I dug out Mr. Cutty Grinder and set to work:

So that's the point of no return out of the way, things can only get better. First off I attempted to bend the current lower half, which didn't work at all due to the pressed metal not taking to the new required curvature. So out with Mr. Cutty again:

then with a bit more shaping, they were on the car.....

Turns out a straight line looks terrible, so back to the drawing board:

a bit of filler, and some paint:



and the obvious application of a large sharks mouth:

And that's how it's done. Far more man hours went into those than I'd admit too, but overall I don't think they come out too shabby
