Day was all ice cube good day and rapidly went nwa fuck the police.
Not alot really you can do when your dragging down your home street, sump and subframe laid the length of the road. traffic police following you, cept sit... look at your mate in the passenger seat... and just giggle. its comming. those lights WILL come on....
and come on they did. right outside the house, housemates laughing from behind the house glass. Gav shrugs his shoulders, we get out and he goes in the flick the kettle on. we knew this was going to be a long one....
outside the car, keys in pocket... its a familiar scene. the police know we've been here before, we know they know. scare tactics come in to play.

Every concieveable quick check carried out on the car, lights, plate dimensions, engine bay check for fuck knows what exactly, glovebox and interior checked for weapons... the usual lollygag.
Strung out the story i'd just bin to sainsburys car park to set the height, hence the tools and whatnot in the boot, and on the way home it dropped a little lower than i expected.
The front wheels touched the arches at full lock. they had me on that. you cant argue that.
Into the back of the mondeo im directed. sitting straight faced. trying desperately not to crack a smile. The police take a plethora of images, i suspect cos i drive SUCH A SIK WIP and they wanted to show thier kids.... hahaha. but yea, the cars prolly marked now.
They join me in the mondeo.
''you do realise your car was touching the floor the entire length of the road and throwing sparks out of the back of the car at our car?.. thats not legal.''
:|
no no i didnt know officer
Long story short, i got a VDRS for my tints and ride height, we had a lengthy conversation about what exactly is 'legal' and what is 'illegal' with respect to ride height and they had no reply. now i dont mind playing by the rules, but you got to be able to tell me what the rules are.. i told them exactly this and well, they could enlighten me no more than to say ''be sensible''
it could have been worse, least im certified 'DANGEROUSLY LOW' :smug:

and to celebrate.... we had that cuppa t, and tore the spoiler off the back of the sukka
