It was going to happen, it was a question of when.

Every donk, every knock, every scrape brought the brown closer to the atmosphere....bit by bit untill it could finally break free and pollute the world and kill swans or whatever oil does when its got a free afternoon off from sittin in ya sumps.

only a small hole, but the entire bottom of the sump was worn to about 1mm thick....

there was only one thing for it, make a sump able to take more of a battering.

4mm thick alu plate was the order of the day, and no i didnt use scissors to cut it... try an hour and a half of never ending grinding, filing and every pore and orifice being filled with swarf. even my pockets and shoes.

just a case of getting it welded up...

my man mando got right on the case and it was done in the blink of an eye!

wasnt long before i was back on the road, with a full load of the good stuff.

we shall see how long this one lasts...

have a feeling this may become somewhat of a ''butchers knife'' scenario....
