Back From Enfield with Krones

Well that ended up with them getting won :lol:

Kinda not 100% sure i really could afford to buy them, let alone refurb them, tyre them, and get adaptors for them.

I'll just say its fate. i was meant to buy them.... not its not, your a fucking idiot and you should think before you bid.

Lesson learned.

Still, i'd be a fool not to hand the monies over and actually go get me some krones!

Me and Paulo jumped in the MK3 and headed up the country in search of krones, enfield was our target, rumor is the place is rife with the aftermarket, porsche fitment hoops.



Enroute we saw ourselfs a big nob.



very nice he was too....

we had many-a-companion on the trip.. some friendlier than others....







most notably the mandem in the 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!





The daunting task of hunting the krones was getting to paul, no amount of cina-berry could help him now.....



but with warp speed engadged we got to enfield, and more importanly... the house of krones in good time.



our ebay seller was a total G. 996Turbo was his daily, 993 track car his project... we were too afraid to take a picture of him for fear of pure awesome damaging pauls new camera.



with paul and i happy we had loads of krones, 4 and three quater full wheels in total, we set off home with a police escort...





with only a short stop for fuel (top fuel)



we arrived safely back home, with a boot fulla krones. we transferred the krones to an older model of volkswagen... and thats where this story concludes.



where the krones take me next is uncertain.... but its sure set to be fun!!!1111
